Members of the Verkhovna Rada have passed Bill No. 2695 on strengthening liability for certain road safety offenses by 325 votes. According to the adopted document, fines for drunk driving will increase significantly. The law also provides for a fine of UAH 40,800 for refusal to undergo a test for alcohol or drug intoxication. This legislative innovation was analyzed by Viktor Medvid, director of William Invest Expert consulting company, at a press conference at the GolosUA news agency.
