Private transport operators in Kyiv are planning to raise the cost of a one-time bus fare in the near future. According to Oleksiy Pavlenko, chairman of the Association of Kyiv Region Carriers, the price of minibuses on the right bank of Kyiv is to be increased by 10-15 %. The price increase should be expected in the fall of 2021. The carriers say that the increase is due to rising prices for fuel, spare parts, and tighter bank loan conditions. Viktor Medvid, director of the William Invest Expert consulting company, tells how much the fare will rise at a press conference at the GolosUA news agency.
