Viktor Medvid, director of William Invest Expert, a consulting company, believes that human trafficking in Ukraine "for some reason does not come to the attention of law enforcement agencies."
"The trend of virus attacks will increase, and the number of crimes will grow steadily with the increasing automation of all enterprises. That is why the world is now focusing on cybersecurity and areas related to human trafficking and organ trafficking. In our country, these three areas do not come to the attention of law enforcement agencies," Viktor Medved said during a press conference at RIA Novosti Ukraine.
He also added that Ukraine is among the top ten countries "as a donor of human trafficking, in particular, of organs." Earlier, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that there are 106 countries in the world where human trafficking exists today.
