Inter Kyiv drivers complain at forums about rudeness of HCCU judge

The servant of Themis, who will be discussed in the next story, became the hero of a scandal. All because she blocked the exit from the courtyard with her car. Persuasion did not lead to anything, and the judge wrote a statement to the police because of a photo of her car published on the Internet. Yevhen Onoprienko looked into the story.

It all started with this photo and a discussion on the forum of an Internet site. User Viacheslav complained about the rudeness of a judge of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine.

"She leaves her car at the only exit from the yard and unceremoniously leaves for a long time. And when she returns, she sends a direct message to the citizens who are waiting in line to leave."

And here is that yard. We came here together with Yuriy Butusov, the editor of the website where outraged users "park".

Yuriy says that immediately after posting on the forum, he started having problems. The police came for the server. The goal was simple: to identify the author and commenters.

- It's absurd to ask, because most of the information on the Internet is posted from wi-fi, mobile devices. Where it is almost impossible to determine the address.

Law enforcement officers explain that they responded to the judge's statement. She complained of threats.

Yevhen Onoprienko, correspondent:

- In her statement, the judge wrote that she had been threatened more than a year ago. All the angry messages came via the Internet. There were so many of them that the woman was afraid for her life.

There are dozens of threats against the judge on this forum alone. Here are just a few comments.

"This is how the cream of our society looks and behaves. An arrogant asshole.

She would be ashamed if she had a conscience. But people like her have no conscience.

The lawless judge probably thinks she can do anything. This act needs to be covered on social media - it's impossible to keep everyone's mouth shut on the Internet."

Yulia Mustash, press officer of the Holosiivskyi district police department:

- There is a fact of threats to a person's life. This is the basis for conducting a certain check.

The people's anger is well founded, lawyers say. The case of the jeep is not an exception, but rather a rule of behavior for Ukrainian judges.

Viktor Medvid, human rights activist:

- They often misuse their license in front of traffic police officers to avoid paying fines, often exceed the speed limit, park in wrong places, and threaten people with or without reason.

Judge Zhanna Bernadska has her own defense lawyers.

- Yes, it's the Internet, but behind the Internet are real people who may well take real actions.
