Her father, Viktor Mykolaiovych Vedmid (1955-1993), worked in the coal industry and as a director of a vocational school in Pervomaisk, Luhansk Oblast.
Her mother, Oleksandra Vedmid, worked as a teacher, coach, and director of a children's sports school.
He is married to Anna Stanislavivna Zakharova. He has two sons.
