Viktor Medved told GolosUA how to launch public transport

If certain standards were met, public transportation could be launched even without any special passes. The fact that it is not being launched shows the lack of professionalism of the authorities.

This opinion was expressed in a comment to GolosUA by Viktor Medvid, head of the consulting company William Invest Expert.

"I think this is due to the lack of professionalism of the authorities, both local and national. I think it's a completely stupid decision because it creates crowds. In other options, in the same taxi, there is much closer contact than in public transportation. This is not rational. It would be correct to use the calculation for two seats - one person. This would be quite enough. Or at least without standing seats, to cancel them, to leave sitting seats, wearing a mask, this risk would be significantly reduced," said Viktor Medvid.

This option applies to both ground transportation and the subway.

"I wish the subway was not only full of passengers. For the future, it would also be a good indicator of comfort if they removed the number of vehicles and removed standing seats. This is a safety issue," emphasized Viktor Medvid.
